R U Next?: Where Are They Now?

R U Next? (알 유 넥스트?) was a 2023 girl group reality survival show created by HYBE and JTBC. It consisted total of 22 trainees where only 6 would be make it into debut group. The show started airing on June 30, 2023, with a total of 10 episodes. The final lineup was announced on September 1, 2023 with the group name called ILLIT managed under BE:LIFT Lab. — She returned to BE:LIFT Lab, but later left the label silently.
— She signed under WAKEONE as a trainee.
— She was confirmed contestant on MNET survival showI-LAND2 with the release of the HIP-HOP performance video Pep Rally by Miss Elliot in March 21, 2024, with the release of her profile picture next day March 22, 2024.
— She participated in I-LAND2 survival show, where she finished 2nd place in the final’s making her a member of the girl group izna, under WAKEONE.

Rank-8 (Final Episode) – Jeongeun

— She returned to BE:LIFT Lab and continued to train, but later left the label silently.
— It appears she returned to acting and quit idol training, it’s still unknown.

Rank-9 (Final Episode) – Jiwoo

— She returned to BE:LIFT Lab and continued to train, but later left the label silently.
— She opened social media and is regularly posting.

Rank-10 (Final Episode) – Himena

— She returned to BE:LIFT Lab and continued to train, but later left the label silently.
— Nothing has been heard from her.

Rank-11 (Eliminated Episode 9) – Chanelle

— She returned to BE:LIFT Lab, but later left the label silently.
— She signed under ATTRAKT where it was speculated that she along with Yewon was about to be put as new member of company’s group FIFTY FIFTY, later on August 8, 2024 she was confirmed added memeber of FIFTY FIFTY.
— She will debut in girl group FIFTY FIFTY on September 20, 2024 with their 2nd mini album that is yet to be revealed.

Rank-12 (Eliminated Episode 9) – Jihyun

— She returned to BE:LIFT Lab and continued to train, but later appears to have left the label.
— She signed under UniqueTunes Records where she got revealed in the lineup of company’s new girl group 4IREN on July 12, 2024.

Rank-13 (Eliminated Episode 8) – Funa

— She returned to BE:LIFT Lab and continued to train, but later left the label silently and signed under DG Entertainment where she is part of the company’s trainee group DG Girls.

Rank-14 (Eliminated Episode 8) – Seoyeon

— She returned to BE:LIFT Lab and continues to train.

Rank-15 (Eliminated Episode 8) – Hyewon

— She returned to BE:LIFT Lab and continued to train, but later left the label silently.
— She opened social media and is regularly posting.
